History
Chartered in 2004 as “River Heights Charter School” with a focus on project based learning.
Renamed in 2012 as “Academic Arts High School”. Completed transition to a flat “ Teacher
Powered ” model in 2018. Currently managed collectively by the school’s Teacher Powered
Schools Committee.
